How to use Google Maps Data Extractor
Before stating to use google maps data extractor to extract data, you need to make sure that you have created the google maps api and updated that API in google maps software settings. Withou the API key, you will not be able to extract data. Once you have the verified api key in your google maps settings, you can start using the software.
Its vey simple to use this software. You need to enter 4 things in the software to extract data.
1. Radius
2. Max contacts to extract.
3. Keywords
4. Location
Radius: Radius by default is 50000 meters. you can leave it the way it is. To learn more about Radius read the article what is radius
Max contacts to extract: These are the number of contacts that you can extract per query, These are the maximum number of contacts that you can extract per query, This means, if you type a single keyword as doctor and single location as mumbai, then the software will extract 60 contacts of doctors in mumbai. This limit is applied by google api. however we can still extract all the contacts of doctors by using a work around. we can extract data pincode wise.. this way we can extract all the data available from google maps. to learn more about pincode wise data extraction, read the article how to extract more data from google maps
Keywords: you can type single or multiple keywords one below the other.
Location: you can type single or multiple locations. one below the other.. You can type the name of the city or pincode. in case of pincode, you will have to type it like this. for example, If the pincode is 400001, then you need to type 400001,india .. this means you will need to type the country name seperated by comma. After typing all these details, just click on the start button.
Once the data is extracted, you can export it in excel format. just click on the export data button.
You can even extract email addresses. to do so, you will have to put a tick mark in extract email option. Please remember that email extraction will slow down the speed. because during email extraction process, the software will visit the website address of the particular contact and search for the email. if it finds the email address, it will fetch it. eles it will skip to the next contact.
The time the software will search for email on every website is 20 seconds by default. you can change this time in the settings.
